New Site Design and Banner

As some may have noticed lately, our new Site Design and Banner have been undergoing some subtle (and not-so-subtle) tweaks lately.
We have finally arrived at a wonderful site banner design that we feel works beautifully for our site and separates it from the 'micronational norm' of either plain badly-designed, stock images galore, or a banner that is stark and only using goverment-designed work fit to bust with crests and flag colours, like a corporational mockery.

New Format for the BNS

For a while, the BNS has been dormant, due to the extremely unsuccessful choice to start of by trying to shoehorn the BNS' content into a 'print-friendly' PDF/image format. This has been near impossible, and access to such files etc has been so minimal that we are in possession of over 10 issues that were produced too late to be relevant and so were filed away and left.
So, until the situation can be rectified- as this format is preferable, a blog-format does not a newspaper make- the BNS will...

About the BNS


The Bokontonian News Service was created in 2009 to keep Bokontonian Citizens up to date with our micronational happenings. Unfortunately, the 'print-ready' format proved unsuccessful, and so the BNS lived on through regular 'mini bulletin' style updates on their Twitter page. Now, the BNS hopes to reside here until another attempt at the original format is viable.
