A newspaper has interviewed Bokonton about our aims and history for an article on Micronations et al, and we hop to be able to present the finished article once it goes to press.
We have entered relations with Egtavia, and hope to have a happy and long-lasting alliance, as Egtavia is a progressive, albeit young, micronation.
We are also continuing to implement our 'new look' site and urge our visitors to check back for updates as we progress.
POLL; Due to the Fact that the term 'Republic' conflicts with Bokonton being a monarchy, we are having a vote to determine whether or not an official name change is in order. Poll is on the right.
We are also looking for a banner designer for our site, and any offers can be made to bokontongov@bokonton.org

To welcome in the glorious New Year of 2010, flag patches are being investigated.
Bokonton is also looking into more ways to reach out to the British and other publics.
Last month, Queen Holly awarded an Honourary Citizenship to an artist for her commendable efforts in researching and depicting Bokonton in their artworks.
A stamp competition is also planned in the near future.
